PUTRAJAYA: The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has unveiled a new corporate identity as part of its broader effort to strengthen the nation’s aviation sector.
The new design features a continuous line forming four interlinked loops, each containing a letter — C, A, A, M — set against a blue background.
Beneath the loops is the agency name: Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke, describing the new logo, said the refreshed image symbolises Malaysia’s commitment to building a modern, independent regulator in line with international best practices.
“Aviation is critical to Malaysia’s economy. It enables trade, tourism and investment; it creates jobs and opportunities, and it connects our people and businesses to the world,” he said at the launch today.
CAAM is a statutory body under the Transport Ministry, established to oversee and regulate all aspects of civil aviation in the country.
Loke said CAAM’s new identity symbolises its readiness to support national policies, engage stakeholders, and ensure aviation develops safely, sustainably, and inclusively.
The minister also said regulatory frameworks must evolve to foster innovation while upholding the highest standards of safety and security.
Loke commended CAAM’s leadership, including its newly appointed chairman and chief executive, for guiding the transformation.
“It is not an easy task, but it is a necessary one to ensure Malaysia’s aviation sector remains globally competitive,” he said, urging industry stakeholders to work closely with the regulator.
“This new corporate identity is not just a new look for CAAM, but a new promise: that Malaysia’s skies will remain safe, our aviation sector resilient, and our future in global aviation secure.”
