Sabah BN chairman Bung Moktar Radin mobilises campaign teams in small groups to deliver messages directly to voters in Lamag seat contest
KINABATANGAN: Sabah Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin is mobilising his campaign teams in small groups to ensure messages reach voters directly.
The Lamag state seat candidate said this strategy proves more effective for clearly explaining issues and ensuring good reception from local communities.
“We have arranged machinery in district voting centres and will use the small group strategy to achieve our target,” he said after launching a command centre here today.
Bung Moktar noted that large programmes would occur occasionally, particularly gatherings involving 1,500 to 2,000 youths in Kinabatangan.
Regarding the six-corner fight for Lamag, he acknowledged the contest among brothers but expressed readiness to face any candidate for continued constituency development.
He emphasised the importance of federal and state government cooperation for sustained development and proper negotiation of the Malaysia Agreement 1963.
Bung Moktar faces Johainizamshah Johari of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah, Salahuddin @Saalahuddin Anoi of Parti Impian Sabah, Mohd Saifulah Lokman of Warisan, Mohd Ismail Ayob as an Independent, and Mazlin Madali of Perikatan Nasional.
Polling is set for November 29 with early voting on November 25. – Bernama
