A special taskforce from Bukit Aman will take over investigations into the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir.
In a statement today, police said the special taskforce consists of nine officers from the Criminal Investigation Department, to ensure the probe is thorough and transparent.
Separately, Sabah Governor Musa Aman has called for no stone to be left unturned in the investigation.
