PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reiterated his openness to any motion of no-confidence brought against him in Parliament.
Commenting on opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin’s suggestion to table the motion, Anwar said he welcomes the move if the opposition wishes to proceed.
“We are open to it.
“That is the proper and democratic process.
“If he wants to bring it forward, let him do so,” he told reporters when met after PKR‘s ‘Seminar Pemantapan Organisasi dan Jelajah Presiden’ today.
Anwar said the opposition had repeatedly mentioned the idea of a no-confidence motion over the past three years.
“They have been talking about it for three years now,” he said.
