Boy, 9, suspected of slashing younger sibling, police probe Roblox link

JOHOR BARU: Police have not ruled out the possibility that a nine-year-old boy, reportedly influenced by the popular online game Roblox, slashed his younger sibling’s throat.

Johor police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad said that initial investigations indicated the incident might have been triggered by the boy’s excessive exposure to the game.

The six-year-old victim was injured after his throat was slashed at their home in Parit Raja yesterday morning.

Both parents, aged 41, were remanded today to assist with investigations.
