BN‘s ‘Bikin Balik Sabah’ slogan aims to revive Sabah’s economy, ensure political stability, and address key issues like water and electricity supply.
KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional will adopt the slogan ‘Bikin Balik Sabah’ for the 17th Sabah State Election to inspire change and development.
BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the slogan aims to revive the state’s economy and generate employment opportunities for locals.
“We want the slogan ‘Bikin Balik Sabah’ to be truly realised,” he said during the BN machinery launch for the Sabah polls.
He stated the economy must be reignited so benefits meant for Sabahans do not go to cronies.
The Deputy Prime Minister said BN will improve unity in Sabah and end power struggles that undermine harmony.
“We need a mature government that upholds integrity and is focused on guiding the people,” he added.
Political stability is emphasised under the slogan as key to driving Sabah toward progress and prosperity.
Ahmad Zahid said this election is not a festival of logos but a platform to elect a government that can resolve problems quickly.
He identified clean water supply, electricity, and poverty eradication as issues needing immediate attention.
“The people of Sabah greatly miss Barisan Nasional,” he noted.
BN will repay voters through excellent service if its candidates win seats in the election.
All BN candidates for the November 29 polls will be locals, with no candidates from Peninsular Malaysia. – Bernama
