PUTRAJAYA: Barisan Nasional (BN) is close to finalising seat negotiations with its partners ahead of the upcoming Sabah general election, said its chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
He said discussions were progressing smoothly, with nearly all matters settled.
“I would say about 95 per cent is complete,” he told reporters when asked about preparations for the polls.
Zahid did not elaborate on which seats were still under negotiation or the remaining issues, but emphasised that the coalition was working to ensure a coordinated approach with its partners.
