BERNAMA - Telcos Urged To Resolve Communication Line Disruptions In Pahang Quickly

KUANTAN, Nov 9 (Bernama) — Telecommunication companies are urged to be more serious and proactive in immediately resolving the issue of communication line disruptions occurring not only in Raub but throughout Pahang.

Pahang Communication and Multimedia, Youth, Sports, and Non-Governmental Organisations Committee Chairman, Fadzli Mohamad Kamal, said severe telecommunication access disruptions have been ongoing for three days in Kampung Pamah Kulat, Kampung Pamah Rawas, and Kampung Peruas in Raub.

“This situation is causing inconvenience to many parties, especially the villagers, traders, and tourists holidaying around Ulu Dong,” he said via a post on his Facebook page.

According to him, more and more complaints are being received every day, and telecommunication companies are taking too long to resolve them.

“This is despite the fact that during the engagement session with the telecommunication companies involved recently in September, they had expressed their commitment to improving the quality of their respective services,” he said.

In the same post, Fadzli also shared that he had gone to the ground this afternoon to inspect the telecommunication towers in Kampung Pamah Kulat, Kampung Pamah Rawas, and Kampung Peruas.
