SABAH: Sabah-based major road infrastructure construction player, Azam Jaya Bhd, has today declared a single-tier interim dividend of 0.50 sen per ordinary share in respect of the financial year ended December 31, 2025 (FY25).
The interim single-tier dividend of 0.50 sen per share translates to a dividend payout of RM2.5 million.
Executive director Datuk Jessica Lo said the dividend declared reflects the company’s commitment to shareholder value creation and serves as a token of appreciation for their continued confidence in Azam Jaya.
“It also aligns with our dividend policy to distribute up to 30% of our net profit, while prioritising a balanced approach that ensures both shareholder rewards and sufficient capital for future growth initiatives,” she said in a statement.
Moving forward, Azam Jaya remains focused on the timely execution of its RM1.38 billion unbilled order book, which includes several work packages under the Pan Borneo Highway project.
In August 2025, the group further strengthened its order book with a RM120.9 million design-and-build contract for the upgrading works at Tawau Airport.
The group’s outlook remains positive, underpinned by opportunities arising from
infrastructure upgrades and rural connectivity projects under the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) and Budget 2026.
Azam Jaya is well-positioned to contribute to Sabah’s sustainable development while continuing to deliver long-term value to shareholders.
