SUBANG JAYA: Main Market-Listed engineering services group, AWC Berhad, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ambang Wira Sdn Bhd (AWSB), today accepted a Letter of
Award (LoA) from TM Technology Services Sdn Bhd (TMSSB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), for the provision of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services for TM Data Centres and Buildings in TM Central 1 for five years with a total value of RM99.1 million (Contract).
The Contract is expected to commence on Nov 1, 2025 and continue until Oct 31, 2030.
Group CEO/president, Datuk Ahmad Kabeer Mohamed Nagoor said, “We are honoured to be chosen by TM to undertake this project. This win is a testament to our proven track record and strong expertise. The Group will be providing Comprehensive IFM services covering operations, maintenance, and support for TM Data Centres and
Buildings in TM Central 1.”
Beyond being another major facilities management job, he added this project marks their first venture into the management of mission-critical technology-driven infrastructure—facilities where reliability, uptime, and technical precision are of utmost importance.
It also showcases their ability to integrate engineering excellence with facilities management expertise, he said.
“Furthermore, we are delighted that the Facilities Division is gaining good traction alongside our Environment and Engineering Divisions, reflecting the Group’s positive momentum — following the recent contract win by our Facilities Division a few days ago and another by the Environment Division last month. This brings the total contracts announced in FY26 to around RM194 million,” said Ahmad Kabeer.
He added that this Contract provides clear earnings visibility for the next five years and further reinforces their recurring revenue base.
In FY25, he said around 45% of their revenue was recurring in nature. Meanwhile, the Group’s prospects remain bright, with ample opportunities for them to capitalise on.
As at end-June 2025, he disclosed that their order book stood at RM597.0 million (excludes the 3 contracts announced in FY26), reflecting a healthy pipeline, while their team remains actively engaged in pursuing more tenders.
“More importantly, this award positions AWC at the forefront of Malaysia’s rapidly expanding digital infrastructure ecosystem and aligns with our long-term strategy to move our Facilities Division into higher-value, performance-based contracts that support data centres, telcos, and other advanced technology assets.”
