Court issues arrest warrants for eHati founder and another individual who failed to appear for charges, as police launch manhunt

SHAH ALAM: The court has issued arrest warrants for two individuals, including the founder of the eHati marriage motivation programme, after they failed to appear for their court charges.

Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar confirmed police are actively tracking down both individuals.

“Two warrants of arrest have been issued for failing to attend court during their charges,” he told a press conference today.

“I can confirm that efforts are underway to locate them.”

In a separate case, Shazeli said the post-mortem on a body found near a private higher learning institution in Bandar Sunway early last month had been completed.

The cause of death could not be determined due to the body’s advanced state of decomposition.

“We are waiting for a detailed report from the Chemistry Department to help establish the cause of death.”

“No arrests have been made so far, and the victim’s identity remains unknown as no one has come forward for identification.”

He added that efforts to identify the deceased are ongoing. – Bernama
