Anwar pays tribute to wife on return to work


KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ibrahim acknowledged the unwavering support of his wife Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as he returned to work, sharing a heartfelt message on social media.

“At every step, there is a hand that always makes sure I am not alone. Love, Azizah” he posted on Facebook today.

The post drew warm responses from followers, who wished the prime minister a speedy recovery and praised the couple for their love and support for each other.

In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said the last-minute cancellation was made on the advice of his medical team after he experienced back pain that restricted his movement.
