Anwar hails 'best-ever' human graphics at National Day celebration


: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ibrahim praised the human graphics performance at the 2025 National Day celebration, describing it as the best in the nation’s history.

“I am proud of these children. This is the best performance in Malaysia’s history.

“Study well and keep up the effort,” he said briefly when expressing his appreciation to the participants.

The performance, which involved 2,000 school students under the Education Ministry, successfully reflected the patriotic spirit of Malaysians while showcasing the creativity and unity of the younger generation, said.

Earlier, drew attention when he walked nearly 500 metres along the main stretch of Dataran to mingle with visitors attending the celebration.

He was greeted with cheers from the crowd, who were excited to see the country’s leader and seized the opportunity to take photographs and shake hands with him.

Along the route, the prime minister engaged warmly with people from all walks of life, including children, senior citizens and tourists.

When approached by the media about today’s event, Anwar responded with a smile and a thumbs-up.

He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, who also mingled with the crowd.

This year’s National Day celebration was held in grand style, featuring more than 14,000 participants, 78 vehicle assets, seven decorated floats, cultural performances and an aerial display that entertained the spectators.

The event was graced by the presence of the King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, and Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah, who observed the parade from the royal stage.

The celebration drew an estimated crowd of over 100,000 people.
