Earlier today, during the Acer Predator League Local Qualifiers, the brand unveiled several of its latest Predator products that are being brought into Malaysia. The list includes the Triton 14 AI, Orion 3000, and a refreshed XB3 gaming monitor.
Starting with the Predator Triton 14 AI, the laptop was announced earlier this year and has officially been on the market since July this year, but is only now available in Malaysia. Specs-wise, the model Acer is bringing in houses an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V, 32GB LPDDR5-8533 RAM, 2TB PCIe 4.0 of storage, and an NVIDIA RTX 5070 discrete GPU. Powering it all is a 76Wh battery.
For its display, the Predator Triton 14 AI comes with a 14.5-inch 2.8K WQXGA+ OLED panel, with a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and is also Calman verified. It also has a refresh rate of 120Hz, as well as a 1ms GTG response time.
Pricing for the Predator Triton 14 AI is set at RM12,999. In addition, starting today till 27 November, Acer is also offering a wireless gaming controller worth RM599, free with every purchase of the laptop, while stocks last.
Moving on, the Predator XB3 Series that Acer is bringing in is technically a refresh of its lineup. Specs-wise, the XB323QU P is a 31.5-inch WQHD (2560×1440) panel with 180Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms GTG response time.
The Predator XB323QU P gaming monitor is available immediately at Acer eStore, Acer official store on Shopee and Lazada, priced at RM1,099. Starting today till 16 November, the first 10 units of the Predator XB323QU P will be sold at RM879, with a complimentary Predator Cestus 330 Gaming Mouse worth RM269.
Last on the list, the Predator Orion 3000 is Acer’s “budget-friendly” desktop PC solution, aimed at gamers. The machine comes in two CPU and RAM flavours: the first SKU features an Intel Core i7-14700F and 32GB DDR4 RAM, while the second SKU features a Core i5-14400F and 16GB DDR4 RAM. The choice of DDR4 raises some eyebrows, but it should be noted that the LGA1700 socket is compatible with both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM.
Pricing starts at RM4,999 for the Core i5 SKU, while the system with the Core i7 processor retails at RM5,999. In conjunction with its launch, Acer is offering TNG eWallet credit worth RM549 with each purchase, along with a wireless gaming controller for the Core i5 SKU and a Galea 31S gaming headset for the Core i7 system.
