Police have recorded statements from five individuals in connection with the alleged bullying and assault of a Form Two student at a secondary school in USJ 4, Subang Jaya.
Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said they had taken statements from the victim, three students, and a teacher, Utusan Malaysia reported.
“No arrests have been made so far,” he was quoted as saying.
He said the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
It was reported yesterday that a 14-year-old boy had been traumatised after being bullied by other students since last month. He was also allegedly punched in the face by another student on April 29.
On May 2, he was confronted by three students, leading to an altercation.
The victim’s father lodged a police report on the incident that same day.
