The Selangor government today announced a special financial incentive equivalent to three months’ salary for civil servants in the state.
Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari said the incentive recognises the contributions of civil servants and aims to further motivate them.
“The first payment of one-and-a-half months’ salary was channelled earlier this year, while the second payment of another one-and-a-half months, or a minimum of RM1,000, will be disbursed on Dec 18,” he said when tabling the state’s 2026 budget at the state assembly today.
Amirudin said community leaders, village relations officers, Indian community chiefs, women leaders, and state youth officers will receive a one-month allowance.
Mosque staff will receive RM500 each from contributions by the state government through Menteri Besar Incorporated.
