PETALING JAYA A 12-year-old girl was injured after being robbed by a man armed with a knife in Putra Perdana, Sepang, yesterday.

Sepang deputy police chief GK Shan Gopal said the victim’s father lodged a report at 5.03pm after being informed of the incident by a neighbour, Sinar Harian reported.

“The victim suffered injuries to her face, neck and head before being taken to the hospital by a neighbour for treatment.

“Her condition is now stable and she did not sustain serious injuries,” he was quoted as saying in a statement today.

The case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code for causing injury during a robbery.
