KUALA LUMPUR: An accident on the Pagoh-Yong Peng stretch of the North-South Expressway has caused a 10km traffic jam.
The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said in a post on X that the left and emergency lanes were obstructed by the accident. The lanes remained blocked as of 8.13am.
“Use alternative routes and drive carefully,” it said.
LLM also uploaded a photo of the accident involving a trailer.
No further details of the accident are available at the time of publishing.
Many Malaysians are expected to travel back to their hometowns for the long weekend in conjunction with Malaysia Day on Tuesday, Sept 16.
