KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 (Bernama) — Unifi TV, Malaysia’s largest platform for premium channels and streaming apps, today announced the launch of its all-new streaming experience that empowers users to take full control over their viewing preferences.
Through the new Unifi TV experience, Malaysians can now personalise their content bundles, switch between channels and over-the-top (OTT) subscriptions, and enjoy seamless access to world-class entertainment – all from a single integrated platform.
The upgraded Unifi TV app features a refreshed interface with universal search, personalised recommendations, and instant syncing across Android TV boxes, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs.
“Viewers can select from an expansive line-up of premium content including Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix, HBO, beIN SPORTS, iQIYI and more, tailored to their interests – whether blockbuster movies, live sports, Korean drama, children’s shows or anime – all on one platform,” it said.
Unifi TV said that with this latest offering, all subscriptions are contract-free, with the flexibility to switch between channels and streaming apps within the content packs.
It added that the service is open to all Malaysians, even without a Unifi broadband subscription, while Unifi customers will enjoy lower, exclusive pricing for all the packs offered.
From Sept 13 until Oct 12, Unifi TV is offering a 30 days’ free access to 73 premium channels and 15 streaming apps for Unifi customers. Non-Unifi customers will have access to a 30-day free trial of 19 channels between Sept 13 and Dec 12, with no commitment needed.
The new Unifi TV 2.0 app can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
In conjunction with the launch, Unifi TV has also introduced 13 new entertainment packs, open to all Malaysians, with exclusive pricing for both Unifi and non-Unifi customers.
Among the new packs are the Build-Your-Own Pack, which gives customers 16 free channels and the freedom to personalise their TV experience by choosing only the channels and streaming apps they love, ensuring greater control and value for money, with promotional prices starting from as low as RM16 during the campaign period.
“For families, curated packs such as Wira, Ying Xiong, Veeran, and Kids Pack cater to specific audiences with content tailored to their interests. Meanwhile, for those seeking an all-in-one option, the Super Star Pack combines all premium channels and major streaming apps under a single subscription,” it added.
