KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a man and a child dressed in Spiderman costumes sitting quietly by the roadside has tugged at the hearts of Malaysians.
The 26-second clip shows the man sitting with his head in his hands, before the child walks over and sits beside him.
The caption accompanying the video reads: “Everyone has their own challenges in life.”
Since being uploaded, the video has garnered over 413,000 views, with many users offering words of encouragement and prayers for the pair.
User @Rin said: “May this man always be blessed with an endless supply of ‘rezeki’.”
Another user, @Llv, said: “It’s just so sad to think that most kids want to grow up to be Spiderman or wear a Spiderman costume, but for him, he might remember the struggles of wearing it on the streets.
“Oh, I hope this kid becomes rich one day.”
@Kaleef said: “Is it because of the school holidays that his child is following him? May Allah open all doors of rezeki for their family.”
