KUALA LUMPUR: KUB Malaysia Bhd has proposed to change its name to JAG Capital Bhd, subject to shareholder approval.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the proposed new name had been approved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) on Sept 18.
KUB said it would apply for an extension of time for the reservation of the new name before its expiry.
A circular detailing the proposal will be issued to shareholders ahead of the upcoming annual general meeting, where the resolution will be tabled.
The change, if approved, will take effect from the date the CCM issues the notice of registration of new name.
