KUALA LUMPUR: The Malayan tiger carcass discovered in a vehicle at Felda Tenggaroh, Mersing, Johor, is believed to have been destined for the black market.
Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) director-general Datuk Abdul Kadir Abu Hashim said the animal was valued at between RM250,000 and RM300,000.
He said Perhilitan is working closely with the police to identify the syndicate network involved following the arrest of the three suspects in the vehicle.
