KUALA LUMPUR: All decisions on development in Kampung Baru must consider the long-term interests of the Malay community, says the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
In a statement today, the ruler called for careful handling of the redevelopment of Kampung Sungai Baru and the wider Kampung Baru area in Kuala Lumpur. He said the interests of the Malay community must be the primary consideration.
