MALAYSIA’S largest water supplier—Air Selangor— recently celebrated its sixth anniversary with the “62 Air Balang untuk Malaysia” campaign in conjunction with this year’s National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations.
Held in collaboration with Media Prima Audio, the campaign tapped into the vibrant spirit of Keretapi Sarong 2025, an annual parade that sees thousands don traditional attire and ride public transport in a lively celebration of Malaysia’s cultural diversity.
The campaign, which commenced on Aug 23, culminated in a big celebration on Sept 13.
Air Selangor chief executive officer Adam Saffian Ghazali said, Air Selangor is more than just a water supplier to more than 9.62 million consumers — it also plays an important role in educating the public on the significance of protecting and appreciating water resources.
“Each drink enjoyed by visitors today represents the unity of Malaysians’ diverse tastes,” said Adam at the event.
“More than that, it reflects the importance of water in our everyday lives and our shared responsibility to protect it for future generations,” he added.
As a nod to the nation’s 62nd Malaysia Day this year, the campaign showcased 62 varieties of unique local beverages inspired by Malaysia’s multicultural heritage.
Throughout the event, the Air Selangor booth kept visitors engaged with educational exhibitions on the water treatment process, interactive sustainability quizzes, and fun games for the whole family.
Visitors also had the opportunity to learn about the Air Selangor 2.0 mobile app, which allows users to report leaks and monitor their daily water usage.
One of the biggest crowd-pullers was the lucky draw, with a lucky winner riding away with a brand new Vespa.
