Malaysia’s Media Works, a digital publishing network known for its high-intent audience reach, has entered a strategic partnership with Versa, the fintech wealth management app recently listed on Forbes Asia’s “100 to Watch.”

The collaboration is designed to create branded digital journeys that connect advertisers with a financially active audience on Versa’s platform. Media Works will run lead generation campaigns through Versa’s features, including Versa Quests, a gamified in-app challenges that encourage user participation.

For Versa, which has facilitated more than RM3 billion in deposits since its launch in 2021, the partnership provides a structured channel to monetise its fast-growing financial ecosystem. For Media Works, it adds another vertical to its network, strengthening its position as a digital publisher offering conversion-driven solutions to brands.

“This partnership strengthens the breadth of the Media Works network and allows us to deliver yield-driven solutions for clients,” said Nikkhil Taery, Chief Commercial Officer of Media Works. “Diversification has always been central to our strategy, and this move positions us for long-term growth.”

Seth Tun Ismail from Versa’s business development team said the partnership demonstrates the potential of connecting ambitious consumers with aspirational brands. “Versa Quests shows the power of meaningful, measurable engagement. Together with Media Works, we are making it easier than ever for consumers and brands to meet at the right moment.”

Media Works, founded in 2019, has grown its portfolio to include Malay Mail, Cincai News, SoyaCincau, Engear TV, The Rakyat Post, BuzzKini, Seni Malaya, Newswav, Loanstreet, Cilisos, and Soscili, with further presence in airports and outdoor media through alliances with VGI Airports and Redberry Advertising.

Versa, regulated by the Securities Commission Malaysia, offers both conventional and Shariah-compliant investment solutions. Since its inception, it has become a preferred wealth management app for young Malaysians and gained recognition through its inclusion on Forbes Asia’s “100 to Watch” list in August 2025.
