Bursa Malaysia opened the week higher, lifted by growing expectations of interest rate cuts ahead of the highly anticipated US Federal Reserve meeting later tonight.

The 30-key index is expected to hover between 1,595 and 1,610.

In the crypto market, Bitcoin surged to RM490,566.

Ethereum climbed to RM18,977, while Solana rose to RM994.
