ALOR STAR: Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang has ruled himself out as prime minister if Perikatan Nasional wins the next general election, citing age and health reasons.
Hadi said the role should be held by a knowledgeable, capable, and trustworthy person.
“People like me are no longer suitable. My health is not what it used to be, and the prime minister should ideally be under 70,” he said at a press conference after opening the Pas Muktamar here today.
