TUNISIA / ISTANBUL, Sept 13 (Bernama-Anadolu) — An initial convoy of vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla departed Tunisia’s Bizerte Port towards the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to an Anadolu correspondent.
The Gaza-bound flotilla includes at least 40 vessels carrying between 500 and 700 activists from more than 40 countries.
The initiative aims to challenge Israel’s blockade and deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
