ALOR SETAR: The four states governed by PAS or known as the SG4 states should be allowed to use the PAS logo during the 16th General Election, says Datuk Hashim Jasin.
The PAS spiritual leader said the party had used the moon symbol for Kelantan and Terengganu, and it was effective to win voters.
“There should be no problem using the PAS logo in the four states,” he told a press conference here on Saturday (Sept 13).
Hashim said in the 15th General Election (GE15), the party’s logo was not used in Kedah.
“We can see what happened in Langkawi. For other states, we are prepared to discuss, but it will be better if we can (use the PAS logo).
On Friday (Sept 12), a representative of Penang PAS Youth wing, Saiful Rizwan Mahmud, urged the party not to sacrifice its seat in the upcoming election to other parties.
