KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested a man after he allegedly stabbed his father to death.
In a statement on Saturday, Cheras deputy OCPD Supt Ridzuan Khalid said that a report on the murder was received at around 3.01am on Saturday (Sept 13).
“The victim, aged 62, was found on the ground in the living room of a home in Bandar Permaisuri.
“Following that, the police arrested a 24-year-old man to assist investigations. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. He has since been remanded until Sept 19,” he said.
A post-mortem will be conducted. He added that the motive behind the murder was still being investigated.
