Apple has recently unveiled its latest iPhone 17 lineup which includes the ultra-slim iPhone Air as well as the new iPhone 17 Pro series that comes in striking Cosmic Orange.
Similar to last year, Malaysia is among the first wave countries to get the latest iPhone and that means we are getting it on the same day as the United States, Singapore, Australia and the United Kingdom.

The most interesting value offering this year has got to be the iPhone 17.
The base new iPhone model gets a larger 6.3″ screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate and Apple has gotten rid of the base 128GB storage. Priced from RM3,999, you’re getting a much better device with double the storage for less compared to last year’s iPhone 16 at the time of launch.
Meanwhile, Apple has discontinued its “Plus” model and it is replaced by an ultra-thin iPhone Air which measures at 5.6mm thin. Although the screen is slightly smaller at 6.5″, it runs on a A19 Pro chip while retaining the same 256GB price as the iPhone 16 Plus at RM4,999.
For the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, it retains the same launch prices as the previous iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, but there’s now a larger 2TB option that’s going for RM9,999.
Where to place your iPhone 17 pre-order in Malaysia?
There are several ways you can pre-order your new iPhone 17, iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro lineup in Malaysia. On most platforms, they will start offering deliveries starting next Friday 19th September and some options allow you to pick it up on the day itself.
Direct from Apple
The primary option is to order your iPhone 17 directly from Apple Malaysia’s online store and they will ship the device to your doorstep for free. Alternatively, you can arrange to pick up your device personally at the Apple The Exchange TRX.
If you purchase your device directly from Apple, they offer a 14-day returns and refund policy for greater peace of mind as long as you return it in pristine condition with the complete accessories.

Pre-order with Telco Contract

The full telco pre-order details will only be revealed this evening once pre-order opens. Typically, telcos offer either a standard device contract where you pay for the subsidised device outright or a 0% instalment program.
