KUALA LUMPUR: Women’s doubles Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah cruised into the semi-finals of the Hong Kong Open on Friday.
The world No. 2 and defending champions defeated world No. 20 Go Pei Kee-Teoh Mei Xing 21-12, 21-15 in an all-Malaysian quarter-final at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
Pearly-Thinaah will face China‘s world No. 4 Jia Yifan-Zhang Shuxian in the semi-finals, who defeated Taiwan’s Hsieh Pei Shan-Hung En Tzu 21-12, 21-7 in their match.
