GUAR CHEMPEDAK: The father of a 30-year-old man who was fatally stabbed said his son had only left their home for a short while before the incident.
“He told us he would be going out for a while. He left, and not long after, the police arrived and told us what happened,” said the man in his 60s.
He said he had heard of such stories but did not think it would happen to his own son.
The man’s son and a 28-year-old woman were found dead last night in Taman Nona with stab wounds. Police are investigating the deaths, but no arrests have been made.
The father, who was comforted by family members and neighbours, said he believed his son had gone out to deliver a phone to a customer.
His son ran a phone repair shop at a mall in Alor Star.
“He was a good son and I relied on him,” the man said.
“I thought I would die first, but now he has gone before me.”
