KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today expressed his condolences to the people of Indonesia over the tragic loss of lives caused by flash floods in Bali.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives following the flash floods in Bali. My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones, and with all those whose homes and livelihoods have been affected,” he said in a post on Facebook.
Anwar said Malaysia stood in solidarity with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and the people of Indonesia during this painful moment.
“Malaysia grieves with you, and we will continue to hold the people of Bali in our hearts as they recover from this disaster,” he added.
