ALOR SETAR: The 71st muktamar (general assembly) officially kicked off on Sept 12.

The 66th youth wing meeting served as a curtain raiser for the party meeting.

The meeting began with the party deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man inspecting the perbarisan by ‘s Jabatan Amal Malaysia (JAM) at the Kedah Pas Complex at about 8.30am.

Tuan Ibrahim was then ushered to the main hall where he was expected to officiate the event.

Among those present during the event were Pas youth wing chief Afnan Hamimi, Taib Azamudden, Pas vice president Datuk Idris Ahmad, Pas secretary-general Datuk Seri Takitufiin Hassan, Pas Ulama chief Datuk Ahmad Yayaya and Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhamad Md Nor.
