LAS VEGAS, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) — The RE+ expo, North America’s largest clean energy gathering, wrapped up Thursday in Las Vegas, the U.S. state of Nevada, highlighting the sector’s rapid growth and presenting a wide range of cutting-edge technologies and solutions.
The four-day event brought together clean energy experts, industry leaders and professionals from across the United States and around the world to share best practices and explore new business opportunities.
This year’s expo featured the latest developments across the clean energy landscape, ranging from solar power, energy storage, and hydrogen to electric vehicle infrastructure, microgrids, wind energy, smart energy management and more.
Technical sessions, educational programs, and networking events were also held to foster collaboration and accelerate the global transition to clean energy.
Hundreds of Chinese companies participated in the event, with leading firms such as CATL, Gotion, Ampace, and EVE Energy, alongside many startups.
“We are attending the expo to increase our brand visibility and engage more directly with customers, including those from North and South America,” Wendy Yip, general manager of the marketing department at EVE Energy’s energy storage marketing center, told Xinhua.
“It’s also an opportunity to gain insights into market changes, understand industry trends and sentiment, hear diverse perspectives, and explore emerging business models,” she added.
Organized by two leading U.S. clean energy organizations — the Smart Electric Power Alliance and the Solar Energy Industries Association — RE+ has become a key platform for driving innovation and collaboration in the industry.
Last year’s edition attracted over 40,000 attendees and 1,300 exhibitors from around the world.
