Man found dead with multiple injuries in Kapar


SHAH ALAM: The body of a man with multiple injuries was found by the roadside at Jalan Kempas Kiri, Kampung Perepat Kapar, today.

North Klang district police chief, Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao, said police received a report at about 3.30am about an unconscious man at the location. Initial investigations found the victim, a 33-year-old local man, with several injuries and believed to have been murdered.

The body has been sent to the Forensic Unit of Tengku Ampuan Rahmah Hospital for a post-mortem. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Earlier, a viral Facebook post claimed that villagers were shocked by the discovery of a man outside a car that had allegedly been stranded since last night.

Rao urged anyone with information to contact investigating officer Assistant Superintendent Chua Chong Kheow at 019-4217868, the North Klang District Police Headquarters at 03-3291 2222, or the nearest police station.
