MACC has arrested 27 individuals, including 18 enforcement agency officers, suspected of being involved in a counter-setting syndicate that allowed foreigners to enter Malaysia without following proper procedures.
According to sources, the suspects – 19 men and eight women aged between their 20s and 50s – were nabbed in operations across Selangor, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan yesterday.
