Rafizi, Tuan Ibrahim reach settlement in defamation suit

KUALA LUMPUR: The defamation suit between Pas deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man and Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli over the approval of a RM2 billion project was amicably resolved at the High Court here today.

Tuan Ibrahim’s lawyer, Yusfarizal Yussoff, told the court that both parties had reached an out-of-court settlement.

Tuan Ibrahim filed the suit against the former economy minister after the latter refused to apologise for alleging that he had approved a project worth RM2 billion after Parliament was dissolved in 2022.
