PETALING JAYA:
A fire engulfed the dormitory of SMK Tinggi Setapak on Jalan Air Jerneh in Kuala Lumpur tonight, though no casualties have been reported.
A spokesman for the Kuala Lumpur fire and rescue department said the fire, which reportedly started at about 8.30pm, has since been brought under control with firemen only putting out the remaining embers.
“For now, no casualties have been reported,” said the spokesman.
Kosmo reported that the dormitory had housed 96 students.
