SHAH ALAM: A MIC leader attended the Bersatu AGM, with Deputy Youth Chief K Kesavan taking a front-row seat at Bersatu youth wing Armada’s eighth annual general assembly at the IDCC Centre here today (Sept 6).
Bersatu youth delegates broke into loud cheers when MIC was mentioned in the welcome address by Armada chief Hilman Idham.
Recently, MIC deputy president Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said the party would decide its future direction after its annual general meeting in October.
On August 10, Penang MIC announced its decision to leave the state Barisan Nasional, citing frustration with the coalition’s unfulfilled promises.
