
Four men were killed after the four-wheel drive they were in crashed into a tree as they were travelling on the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) early this morning.
Selangor fire and rescue department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said all the victims, in their 40s, died at the scene, Harian Metro reported.
He said a distress call about the accident was received at 2.21am, and a team from the Telok Panglima Garang fire and rescue station rushed to the location.
“The accident involved a Ford Ranger that crashed into a tree. There were four victims, with one of them thrown out of the vehicle while three others were trapped inside.
“Firemen carried out an operation to extricate the three victims who were trapped, and a medical officer confirmed that all of them had died at the scene,” he said.
