PETALING JAYA:
A 50% discount is available from Aug 31 to Sept 16 for all traffic summonses issued by the police. The discount, offered in conjunction with National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations, applies only to payments made via the police payments website MyBayar PDRM
The discount was a gesture of the government’s appreciation for Malaysians, said home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail in a statement tonight. It was also aimed at encouraging the people to use the MyDigital ID single login system as part of the digital transformation of public services.
Earlier this month, Malaysians were urged to register for the MyDigital ID, to ensure easy access to MyBayar PDRM and MyJPJ, the mobile phone app of the road transport department.
