World No 4 mixed doubles shuttlers Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei came from a game down to defeat Indonesia’s Jafar Hidayatullah-Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu to enter the quarter-finals at the World Championships.
The Malaysians, who initially made many unforced errors, prevailed in the end by winning 14-21, 21-19, 21-17 against the world No 11 Indonesian pair in a match that lasted 67 minutes.
In the quarter-final tomorrow, they will meet Dhruv Kapila-Tanisha Crasto from India who defeated Hong Kong’s Tang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet 19-21, 21-12, 21-15.
