TANGKAK: Two 12-year-old boys were killed after the motorcycle they were riding crashed head-on into a car at KM 38 of Jalan Muar-Segamat, near Sagil yesterday.
The 2.30pm crash left both victims severely injured and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
District police chief Superintendent Roslan Mohd Talib said initial investigations showed the boys were travelling from Tangkak when the tragedy struck.
“Upon reaching Sagil, one of the boys riding the motorcycle suddenly lost control and veered into the opposite lane,” he said in a statement last night.
The bike collided head-on with a car coming from Segamat.
Both boys were killed at the scene.
