Bursa Malaysia closed higher today, lifted by late buying interest.

Back home, sentiment has turned positive as several companies posted strong earnings, lifting the benchmark index above 1,585 with above-average volume.

The uptrend momentum appears intact, with the index expected to trade within the 1,580 to 1,620 range for the rest of the week.

Meanwhile, the ringgit weakened against the greenback today to 4.2345.

In the crypto market, Bitcoin fell to RM469,097 as investors turned risk-off.

However, Ethereum climbed to RM19,492 and Solana rose to RM864.
