KUALA LUMPUR: High- flying Terengganu are wary of wounded tigers when they meet in a Super League match at MBPJ Stadium tomorrow.

The Turtles thrashed Brunei’s DPMM 5-0 last week, but expect a tougher challenge from the Red Giants who aim to make amends after being stunned 2-1 by Negri Sembilan last Sunday.

Terengganu coach Badrul Afzan Razali hopes his men could continue their winning momentum, but admitted would be difficult opponents.

He said that although are known to concede late goals, he wants his men to be clinical, like how their Brazilian striker Careca scored 10 seconds into the game – the fastest goal of the season – in the win over DPMM.

“Selangor will want to bounce back from their recent defeat, so we have to be on our guard, especially since we’re playing away and considering the quality of their players,” said Badrul Afzan.

Currently, Selangor sit in seventh place in the league, while Terengganu are second, with both teams having played three matches so far.

Selangor coach Katsuhito Kinoshi has called for unity from his under-fire men and the team to move on from the painful loss to Negri.

“We have to be united… and work hard. That is the only way to become the real Selangor,” added the Japanese.
