NEW YORK, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) — Oil prices rose on Monday.
The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery increased by 1.14 U.S. dollars, or 1.79 percent, to settle at 64.80 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery went up 1.07 dollars, or 1.58 percent, to settle at 68.8 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
