PASIR MAS, Aug 25 — Six Form Four students who were remanded over the bullying of a Form Three student at a secondary school here have reportedly been released on police bail.
According to report in Sinar Harian, Pasir Mas district police chief Assistant Commissioner Kama Azural Mohamed said the decision was made while awaiting further instructions from the prosecution.
He reportedly added that the suspects would be freed after completing an identification parade as part of the investigation process.
The victim, aged 15, was allegedly punched, elbowed on the head and kicked on the buttocks by the group during the incident on school grounds at about 12.45pm.
One suspect was also accused of pulling down the victim’s sports trousers to his knees.
The student has reportedly suffered headaches and trauma since the incident, and is afraid to return to school.
