KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress Zarina Anjoulie, 37, has strongly denied rumours that she is involved in creating “indecent videos” with an individual known as Hot Daddy or Daddy Ash.
In a Harian Metro report yesterday, Zarina said that while she was friends with the person in question, they only made light-hearted, “humorous but clean” videos.
“I met him during a visit to Bali, Indonesia, where I was promoting my cosmetics. Yes, we are friends, but we don’t create nonsense on social media!”
Zarina added that she and Hot Daddy, or Ikhwan Arif Zul Hasil, came up with a brief video about “bogus products” sold on social media.
“I also did videos of myself cooking, going to the gym, and sightseeing in Bali.”
Ikhwan was previously involved in a controversial viral video with three women, and was widely criticised by netizens for it.
Some netizens have criticised Zarina for befriending Ikhwan and urged her to “stay away” from him.
